Our ground

We know the South Shore’s houses

Bungalows, split-levels, big lots: what changes here is what sits behind the house.

Longueuil and Brossard grew up in the sixties and seventies: bungalows, split-levels, hedges that have had time to fill in. Boucherville and Saint-Bruno have larger lots and real trees. Further southwest, the Châteauguay valley and the Haut-Saint-Laurent turn rural: farmhouses, deep yards, back roads.

This is back-yard country. Pools, decks, mature maples — half the value of a property sits behind the house, and it disappears at dusk. Landscape lighting gives it back, while exterior lighting holds the front.

What makes it
permanent.

One install, decades on your home

No seasonal ladder, no untangling. A 15–23 year lifespan built into your home from day one.

Built into the architecture

Every wire hidden, every channel flush in the soffit — the underside of your roof overhang. The system follows your home's lines — not the other way around.

Premium materials, cut on site

Aluminum extrusions sized to your exact roofline. Not stock lengths. Not cut corners.

Controlled for the long run

IP68 weatherproof controller, Wi-Fi app, scheduling that runs itself year-round.

Built by experts

Our technicians are overseen by our project managers, start to finish. RBQ licensed — and, above all, professionals who know what they are doing.

Light Bars

Take back the night,
set the mood.

Rooflines, soffits, columns and facades — precision-lit by seamless light bars, one continuous line with no visible dots. From warm white to cool white, all the way to 16M colours. One permanent, app-controlled system, all year.

Except the light.

Warranty

Two warranties, written down.

12 years on controllers and pixels.

There is a product warranty and a labour warranty, and they are two separate things. Inside three years, a service call to replace a covered part costs you nothing. After that the part stays covered for the terms opposite, but the visit is billed hourly at the rate in force at the time.

  • Controllers and pixels — 12 years
  • Light bars and landscape fixtures — 3 years
  • Labour — 3 years (no charge to come out for a covered part)
  • LED rated service life: more than 50,000 hours

Lighting guide

The Complete South Shore Lighting Guide

Permanent lighting on Montréal's South Shore: landscape, facade, holidays, municipal bylaws, warranty and cost. From Longueuil to Huntingdon.

Read the guide

Every question, answered.

  • Do you only do the front of the house, or the back yard too?
Both, often on the same project. Exterior lighting holds the facade in warm white year-round, while landscape lighting brings the yard back — pool, patio, mature trees — all on one system.
  • Do you install as far as western Montérégie, near Châteauguay?
Yes, we cover the Châteauguay valley and the Haut-Saint-Laurent. The distance changes how the visit is planned, not the work itself.
  • Do I have to redo my landscaping?
No. We work with what is already there: trees, beds, paths, walls, deck. Low-voltage cable is buried shallow along existing edges, and the lawn closes over within a few weeks. If you are planning a redesign, tell us — running the cable beforehand is simpler.
  • How many fixtures does a South Shore yard need?
Fewer than people expect. A typical Montréal suburban yard comes alive with about a dozen well-chosen points: two or three trees, the path, a wall, the deck. Adding fixtures everywhere does not make a yard more beautiful — it removes the shadows, and the shadows are what create the depth.
  • What about the pool and the spa?
We light the surround, not the inside of the basin: a strip under the stone edge of the pool or the wall cap, lighting the water from its rim. The effect is softer than a submerged floodlight and requires no work inside the pool structure. Underwater lighting itself stays with your pool contractor.
  • Does it survive the snowblower and the frost?
The fixtures are sealed to IP68 and rated to −40°C, so cold and meltwater are not the issue. The real risk is mechanical: a blower or a shovel catching a fixture at the edge of a path. We account for that when placing heads, setting them back from the areas you clear.
  • Can I start with the front and add the yard later?
Yes, and plenty of our clients do exactly that. People often start with the trees and the path, then add the pool, the spa or the back of the lot the following year. The system is built to be extended — we size the transformer for that from the start, specifically so it does not have to be replaced.
  • What if something fails in five years?
We come back. Controllers and pixels carry 12 years and light bars carry 3. Labour is covered for three years — inside that window, the visit is free. After three years the part is still covered, but the visit is billed at our hourly service rate in effect at that time. Either way, you do not go up a ladder to diagnose anything: you call us, and we are the ones who climb.
